In May 2019, Microsoft added a new function to Power BI, called Performance Analyzer. This great function allows us to quickly and easily within Power BI, review each page, visual and DAX formulas performance.

Accessing Performance Analyzer
In Power BI Desktop go into the View ribbon. Click the Performance analyzer to gain access to the performance analyzer pane.

Using Performance Analyzer
Click start recording and Performance Analyzer will run and measure how long it will take to update the report. You will get a detailed report how long each visual, move of slicer, interactions, etc.
