With Power BI its easy to embed your reports online, such as blog posts, websites, emails and social media. In fact, I used this function to embed my reports on this website to create a portfolio. Keep reading to learn just how easy it is!
How to use Publish to Web?
Publish to web is a built in function in Power BI Service, that allows users to make their reports available online to the public. The reports have to be in a personal or group workspace.
Note:
When you use Publish to Web, anyone on the internet can view your published report or visual. Before you publish your report, make sure it is OK for you to share the data.
Here’s how to do it:
1. Open a report in your workspace that you can edit and select File > Publish to web
2. Power BI generates an Embed code in HTML (iframe) that you can copy and paste as well as a link to send via email. Copy the HTML code and paste to where you wish to publish.
